Another version of gamecube controller is Bongo Controller, it’s a special version gamecube controller for Donkey Konga game.

Wii Compatible

The GameCube controller, in both its original wired version and the wireless WaveBird version, is compatible with the Wii. Virtual Console games and certain Wii and WiiWare games, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Sonic Unleashed and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, can be played with a GameCube controller.

Third Parties Controllers

This is a great time to mention the difference between Nintendo gamecube controllers and third party controllers. Nintendo gamecube controllers are more reliable and comfortable while third party controllers are cheaper. I myself, will only buy original Nintendo gamecube controllers, because my opinion they are worth the extra money for their reliability and stability.

How Many Gamecube Controllers?

The Gamecube console originally came with one gamecube controller in the box but four slots for controllers. So you can buy three more gamecube controllers for the system if you want. If you always playing by yourself, you don’t have to spend money on an extra gamecube controller. But I recommend buying at least one more because you never know when a friend will come over to play. If you choose any of the games that allow four players to play at once, definitely buy three extra gamecube controllers. They will be worth every penny with all the fun you will have with them.

Wii Nunchuck Review

Well, actually the official for Wii Nunchuck is Wii Nunchuk. Other have mispelling write such as Wii Numchuck, Wii Num chuc, or even Wii Nunchack. But never mind, let us say this Wii Nunchuck is a common call for this Nintendo Wii game controller. Wii Nunchuck is used only in a few games. Most often Wii nunchuck is use in first-person perspective as a joystick to control your movement, while the Wii Remote is controlling your view.

What games use Wii Nunchuck?

Popular games which use Wii Nunchuck are : Wii Boxing in Wii Sports, Red Steel, and Zelda. This games use both Wii nunchuck and Wii remote. But watchout gamers, dont push your energy too hard on this games, especially Wii Boxing. Some already complained of aching backs, sore shoulders, pain elbow, wrist, etc. Wii games can be one of fun gaming which can makes you more healthy, cause you’re exercising your body while you’re playing. But if too much, this can be really pain for your body.

Which hand should I hold Wii Nunchuck?

The common use is : Wii Remote in right hand and Wii Nunchuck in left hand, because direction left, right, up, and down on classic controller are mostly on left side. But what if I prefer use Wii Nunchuck in my right hand? Well, no problem with that! Because Wii remote and Wii nunchuck controllers are relatively dependent on each other, Wii Nunchuck won’t work without Wii Remote. Wii Nunchuck attached to Wii Remote via a wire, which mostly stays out of the way. Players are free to hold them in whichever hand most comfortable. This make Nintendo Wii controller have one uniqueness that no other game controller have.

How to Fix Your Nintendo Wii Remote Problems
By Neil Ramos

Having a problem with your Nintendo Wii remote? Below is a guide on how to fix the most common Nintendo Wii remote problems.

Tilt problems:

1. Check the motion sensors functionality by holding the remote with the button side facing down. Now tap the button side of the remote against the palm of your opposite hand, but keep in mind to try not to use too much force when doing this. You can damage your Nintendo Wii remote by doing this with too much power. Doing this doesn’t take much power so you don’t exactly have to tap hard to see results.

2. If the solution above doesn’t work, during game play, you can try placing the remote in a neutral position on a flat surface.

Remote batteries run out fast:

1. A brand new set of alkaline batteries should last for up to 30 hours. How long it lasts depend on the quality of the battery, age of the battery, type of game being played, remote speaker volume, and rumble.

2. If you are using rechargeable batteries instead, it is important to know that Nickel Metal Hydride batteries are the only recommended batteries you should use with your Nintendo Wii remote.

3. To conserve battery, you can put your Nintendo Wii into burn-in reduction mode, your Nintendo Wii  remote will go into sleep mode if the Nintendo Wii is turned off or after 5 minutes of inactivity. In most cases, this is the best way out for conserving your battery.

Remote does not rumble

1. Verify that the remotes power isn’t low by going to the HOME menu.

2. Verify that the rumble feature is turned ON in Nintendo Wii remote settings.

3. The remote should rumble slightly if you go to Nintendo Wii’s menu and point at the Wii’s button located on the bottom left corner of the screen. You can do this to check that the rumble feature is working. If not, your Nintendo Wii remote may need repair.

Buttons are not responding:

You may want to check the games manual to see if the non-responding buttons are actually used in the game as some games do not use all of the Nintendo Wii’s buttons or features.
